We are looking for a Senior Marketing Analyst to research and monitor the Industrial Automation and Digitalization market in the U.S. with regard to market segments, customers and competitors.

We are looking for a Senior Marketing Analyst. This position is remote and can be located anywhere in the US. A preference to candidates will be given to those local to Alpharetta, GA.

You’ll make an impact by:

  • Conducting specific market-segment and customer analyses on request of division management, Sales and our business units

  • Continuously monitoring and regularly reporting on key market/economic indicators as well as Siemens Digital Industries’ main competitors

  • Providing consultative advice to senior division management regarding market trends, policy/regulatory impacts and economic developments

  • Participating in strategic planning activities - like identification of target customer groups, developing segment-/product-/channel-specific strategies, screening for potential M&A targets, benchmarking, etc.

  • Managing customer-research-related programs, e.g. Net Promotor Score surveys

  • Maximizing the use of market intelligence data bases and tools

You’ll win us over by having the following qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of market research experience, strategic planning, or strategy consulting

  • 4-year degree in business administration, economics, or mathematics

  • Strong analytical and verbal skills

  • Proficiency in MS Office, ThinkCell, Efficient Elements or similar tools

  • Travel requirements: 5-10%

  • Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in high-tech or software industries (or proven affinity to these industries)

  • Undergraduate in engineering or computer science plus MBA

  • Strong acumen in statistics

  • The pay range for this position is $98,980 - $169,680 and the annual incentive will be 10% of the base salary. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications and premium geographic location.
