What you'll bring...

  • Strong Complex Project Management Skills: Must possess strong cross-functional project management skills, with a focus on detail and influence.

  • External Engagement: The role involves external engagement, including completing benchmarking surveys and interacting with external organizations. Must be capable of coordinating with multiple internal groups, reviewing submissions with partners, legal, and leadership, and managing tight deadlines.

  • Strategic Design and Implementation: Must be capable of designing and executing strategy as our work in this area evolves.

  • Survey / Benchmarking Submission Experience: Experience in external survey submissions is a plus.

  • Data Analysis and Presentation Skills: Must be able to understand and work with complex data, with strong technical and Excel skills. The ability to prioritize, present, and distill complex ideas to leadership is required.

  • Consults with internal organizations on global strategic initiatives or multi-business initiatives by developing high-level human resource plans to achieve strategic goals. Prioritizes and executes workstreams within global strategies. Supports the integration and prioritization of timelines, tasks, analysis, and team assignments. Ensures strategic initiatives achieve financial goals.

  • Analyzes and interprets integrated human resource information by using various advanced analysis methodologies. Develops creative solutions across business areas that reduce costs and meet business goals. Exercises judgment to assign activities. Ensures data accuracy.

  • Contributes to the building and development of diverse, high-performing teams and the advancement of underrepresented populations by developing strategies to increase the growth, representation, and retention of Women, BIPOC, LGBTQ+, and Persons with Disabilities in business segments. Ensures familiarity and compliance with related laws and regulations. Uses data-driven insights and benchmarks peer organization strategies. Develops programs, curricula, and events to engage key stakeholders in the development, execution, and evaluation of appropriate plans and initiatives to support leaders and associate efforts in these areas.

  • Drives change across multiple business areas by developing assessments of key opportunities. Develops plans and project timelines. Communicates with and influences Human Resources business partners and decision-makers within the organization. Provides specialized consulting throughout life cycle of change initiatives.

  • Leverages data and trends to influence global stakeholders by offering insightful recommendations for strategic, large-scale changes. Persuades senior global cross-functional teams to implement data-driven changes. Demonstrates extensive global expertise to key stakeholders in various cross-functional domains, further enhancing influence and impact. Supports Global Belonging strategies, processes, and best practices by conducting modeling and statistical analyses. Partners with cross-functional teams across the business. Benchmarks with industry experts through continuous education and use of networks. Develops assessments of key opportunities.

  • Supports the development of long-range plans and project timelines. Communicates with and influences decision-makers and executives within the organization.

  • Partners and supports SVN Business leaders to address key issues of each group. Ensures all voices contribute and, where appropriate, creates intentional integration points to inform the mission and priorities of the enterprise. Develops insights and implements new scalable models with the next generation associate in mind.

  • Collaborates with partners in the value chain to achieve beneficial working relationships and positive outcomes. Partners with Center of Excellence, People Partners, DEI experts, and consultants and understands geopolitical challenges and priorities to recommend solutions. Leads cross-functional business initiatives and encourages team members to cultivate relationships across the business. Facilitates cross-functional team thinking and brainstorming activities to collectively create and share ideas. Establishes shared goals and information-sharing platforms to foster collaboration. Resolves issues related to collaborative efforts in varying business conditions. Seeks out individuals with different perspectives to help foster creativity and professional growth.

  • Presents to a diverse, organization-wide audience, positioning arguments/data with a well-structured story. Provides effective, timely feedback to others. Seeks, internalizes, and utilizes feedback to make changes. Connects with strategic business priorities, leveraging data and analytics, financial acumen, and problem-solving techniques to build a cohesive narrative. Builds consensus in controversial and sensitive situations and presents conflicting points of view to others in a fair and constructive manner. Acts as a trusted advisor to diverse business partners, influencing them to take unpopular or difficult actions when required. Coaches team members to communicate effectively using persuasion and consensus-building techniques.

  • Provides supervision and development opportunities for associates by selecting and training; mentoring; assigning duties; building a team-based work environment; establishing performance expectations and conducting regular performance evaluations; providing recognition and rewards; coaching for success and improvement; and ensuring diversity awareness.

  • Promotes and supports company policies, procedures, mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity by training and providing direction to others in their use and application; ensuring compliance with them; and utilizing and supporting the Open Door Policy.

  • Ensures business needs are being met by evaluating the ongoing effectiveness of current plans, programs, and initiatives; consulting with business partners, managers, co-workers, or other key stakeholders; soliciting, evaluating, and applying suggestions for improving efficiency and cost-effectiveness; and participating in and supporting community outreach events.

Live Better U is a Walmart-paid education benefit program for full-time and part-time associates in Walmart and Sam's Club facilities. The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00-$180,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
