This role is for an experienced architectural acoustician who wants to work on the UK’s most exciting new projects in a friendly team of engineers.

WSP has a large, highly experienced and professional Acoustics team who get involved with a diverse range of interesting projects across a number of sectors within the UK for both private and public sector clients. The team pride themselves on the integrated support offered by working alongside our in-house environmental and sustainability specialists, as well as our structural and mechanical engineers, to deliver commercially balanced, innovative and integrated solutions.

We are looking to appoint a new architectural acoustician into our Bristol office to support project delivery in 2024 and beyond. Our team is large (with over 45 acousticians in the UK) but also incredibly friendly and supportive.

You will have the opportunity to lead medium-scale projects including ownership of the finances and client care, assist on larger schemes, and work collaboratively with others in the WSP acoustics team.

  • Working on architectural acoustics projects which range from those of national significance to those which support local communities

  • A relevant degree or equivalent qualification

  • Demonstrable experience in architectural acoustics
