Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a Senior Accountant to join a large propane retail and wholesale company in Calgary Alberta for a 6-month contract. This role will be hybrid with 3 days a week onsite in downtown Calgary. The successful candidate will be joining an accountant team responsible for month-end close for both Canadian and U.S. operations. With a recent system implementation, it will be essential this resource is experienced in working in multiple inter-company environments with the ability to standardize and smooth out the month-end to-close process along with complete financial reporting.

Skills and Requirements

3 years of experience as a Senior Accountant

CPA or equivalent designation

Strong technical skills in financial reporting IFRS

Strong experience with General Entry, Inter-company reconciliation & Consolidation

Experience with drafting financial statements & financial analysis C-SOX compliance experience

Energy Industry experience

Worked in small to mid-size accounting environments (5-15 person teams) null
