Robert Half Human Resources (HR) Manager in Cleveland, Ohio

Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Human Resources Manager in Cleveland, Ohio. The role primarily involves overseeing all aspects of human resources practices and processes in our organization. You will be expected to support business needs and ensure the proper implementation of company strategy and objectives. This role will also involve promoting corporate values and shaping a positive culture for our workforce.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the onboarding process for new hires to ensure a smooth transition into the company

• Manage employee relations and address any issues that may arise in the workplace

• Spearhead performance management initiatives including conducting performance reviews and implementing disciplinary actions

• Conduct exit interviews to identify reasons for employee termination

• Handle compensation and benefits-related functions to ensure competitive and fair remuneration for all staff

• Ensure company compliance with all relevant laws and regulations

• Perform various administrative duties related to human resources operations

• Assume additional duties as directed by leadership

• Utilize HRMS systems such as ADP Workforce Now and Ceridian for various HR functions

• Administer employee handbook and ensure its compliance. Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Human Resources (HR) Manager role or similar

• Strong understanding of Benefit Functions and Compensation Administration

• Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of Compliance and Employee Relations

• Experience in Human Resources (HR) Administration

• Proven ability to develop and implement Employee Handbooks

• Experience in Compliance Management

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred

• Professional HR certification (e.g., PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP) is a plus

• Excellent communication, leadership, and decision-making skills

• Strong interpersonal and conflict-resolution skills

• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
