Figures out material and equipment required. Uses knowledge of electrical pnnc1ples to perform work on a daily and emergency basis. Builds control panels from drawings. Understands standard Nomenclature for wire numbering. Physical Action: Use hand or power tools and equipment to lift, hoist, and move parts and plant equipment with skill, care, and dexterity. Can handle heavy materials and work in a restricted area. Us s voltage, amperage, and ohm meters to troubleshoot equipment Materials Utilized: Any and all electrical material Facilities Used: McWane Ductile Ohio and McWane Poles Location of Job: Plant wide; work within all departments is required Tools and Equipment: All electrical tools and meters required to perform the job function Safety: Adhere to all plant safety policies and procedures. FR rayed clothing and special gloves require PPE required for Arc Flash Category 1-4 per NFPA 70E Selected candidates will work in the area where molten iron is present, conveying and pipe finishing systems, and equipment. Qualifications Preferred Qualifications Team members who will support our McWane Way Culture. Team members will work together to make a quality product. Electrical experience preferred. Prior Experience Required: Advanced electrical knowledge and skills allowing the individual to progra and install any electrical device that the plant uses or will use in the future. Individual will have at leas 3 years experience as an industrial electrician OR have obtained an Associates Degree in Electrical Technologies or equivalent.
