Senior Operations Accounting Analyst - JR2410475

DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES: As a Senior Operations Accounting Analyst, you will have ownership of all things operations accounting and cost management for one or more US manufacturing sites. You will support ad hoc requests from business unit finance, supply chain, and operations. You will report to the Operations Accounting Manager as part of Global Business Finance Support.

Key Responsibilities * Perform monthly closing procedures and account reconciliations. * Analyze and prepare account reconciliations to identify trends and ensure accuracy of the account balances. * Provide ad hoc reporting and analysis on an ongoing basis to service manufacturing and business leadership. * Help facilitate and perform re-costing and analyze results to understand real-time cost changes. * Support the plant manager and the leadership team with understanding results, proactive cost actions, capital investment analysis, and other ad-hoc tasks. * Oversee inventory accounting and physical inventory financial practices for manufacturing locations. * Help with SOX audit compliance and other issues raised by internal and external audit. * You may supervise 1-3 members of the Operations Accounting team.

Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field with 6+ years of experience. * Oracle or SAP and costing experience, preferred. * Outstanding Excel knowledge required. * Travel 4-6 times per year to a plant or warehouse location.
