About the Job:

An opportunity has arisen for a Butler to join the Guest Relations Team at Jumeirah Beach Front Properties. The main duties and responsibilities of this role:

  • Butlers act as the guests' main contact and ensure flawless communication with other departments to execute the smallest to most complex requests and provide the highest level of service.

  • The Butler is always ready and willing to assist both guests and associates in a friendly, courteous and professional manner by performing efficiently and with the best attitude.

  • Extend a warm welcome to all our guests and visitors in the lobby and any other hotel area.

  • Identify and anticipate guest's needs and assist in any possible way.

  • Assist guests with general inquiries about the hotel and its facilities, as well as daily events and functions. Upsell the hotels, restaurants, and facilities across the resort.

  • Conduct a property show around and room orientation to visitors/guests.

  • Ensure correct protocol and treatment is extended to our high profile VIP guests.

  • Maintain the privacy of all guests by ensuring that no guests’ details are disclosed to anybody.

  • Constantly provide an approachable, helpful and friendly service to guests and colleagues.

About You:

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a Butler or Guest Relations role in a luxury 5-star hotel.

  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products, Opera PMS (Cloud), HotSoS, and Sevenrooms.

  • Clear and effective communication skills in English and proficiency in at least one of the following languages: Arabic, Chinese, Russian or any European language.

  • Ability to perform tasks with meticulous attention to detail, coupled with effective organizational skills for handling multiple responsibilities.
