Financial Analyst

Hartford County / Hybrid Work Model

The Financial Analyst is a key member of the finance team responsible for supporting key treasury and investment operations with a focus on liquidity management and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide financial analysis and preparation of financial forecasts.

  • Manage funding of all operating accounts and ensure sufficient cash levels.

  • Monitor and analyze daily cash positions and forecasts to ensure adequate liquidity for operational needs.

  • Monitor daily bank activity and transactions.

  • Initiate wire and ACH transactions, coordinate and track intercompany or intersegment loans

  • Support treasury operations technology, including system configuration, administration, and reporting.

  • Execute fund transfers, wire transfers, and other cash transactions as needed.

  • Prepare regular reports on cash flow, liquidity, and financial performance.

  • Support other treasury operational activities including cash positioning/forecasting, wire transfer, and accounting.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting, finance and operations.

  • Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel is required.

  • Power BI experience is highly preferred.

  • Strong understanding of financial markets, investment principles, and risk management techniques

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
