As an Industrial Electrician with PeopleReady Skilled Trades, you'll support Industrial Projects (Refineries, Mills, Production Facilities, etc.) in the Greater Charleston, South Carolina area. (Currently must be available for Huger along with other areas in South Carolina)

The pay rate for this job is $20 - $25 / hour

Responsibilities:

• Pulling Wire Specifically CAT 5, CAT 6, and Fiber.

• Terminating Fiber, Slicing Fiber.

• Running Rigid Conduit, SO- Cable, performing 120 Power Install.

• Currently seeking Mid-Level, licensed & experienced trade professionals -Hours-7:30 am- 3:30 pm

• Review blueprints and building code specifications to determine work details and procedure

• Measure, cut, and bend wire and conduit using measuring instruments and hand tools

• Maintain tools , vehicles, and equipment and keep parts and supplies in order.

• Install maintain, and repair of a wide variety of electrical systems and equipment.

• Follow state and local building regulations based on the National Electrical Code.

• Bend and install conduit, lighting, and basic control systems. 

• Perform wire and cable pulls.

• Participate in safety talks, audits, and related safety activities.

• Immediately identify, correct, and report any unsafe acts, conditions, or incidents.

• Perform semi-skilled and unskilled laboring duties related to the installation, maintenance, and repair of a wide variety of electrical systems and equipment

• Work collaboratively with internal and external partners. 

 Qualifications:

• A current/active license, certification, or trade certificate is a plus

• OSHA-10 Certification (we offer complimentary training if needed)

• Ability to efficiently bend pipe

• Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and walk for extended periods throughout the day with or without reasonable accommodation

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation

• Open to day shift or night shifts

• Prior experience using small equipment is a plus

• Position may require a drug screen & or Background based on client site requirements (This Industrial position requires Hair Follicle)
