This position is for a Field Technician III, with a company located in Jackson, MS.

Summary: The Field Technician III will install, maintain, and operate wired, wireless, fiber optic and microwave telecommunications equipment and systems.  As a Field Technician, support will be provided in the maintenance and operation of generators, HVAC, and telecommunication site infrastructures. 

Duties and Responsibilities Include:  Ability to lead a Field Crew; Understands and implements Company Network Solutions (MNS) Health Safety and Environmental Policies. (Safety Manual); Understands and implements Industry standards (OSHA, TIA10-48, NATE CTS and ANSI); Able to read and understand a customer detail plan; Provide superior customer service while ensuring all essential job functions are performed in a timely, efficient, accurate, and safe manner; Adhere to all company and industry standards/regulations; Prepare drawings of field sketches using AutoCAD; Read and interpret structural and architectural drawings, specifications, and design requirements related to telecommunication, commercial, residential, and light industrial application; Conduct due diligence for multiple projects prior to field work; Review peer work product; Other duties as assigned.

Requirements and Qualifications Include: High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED), technical degree preferred; 5+ years of general construction experience preferred; some cell industry experience highly preferred; NWSA certification a plus; Must be at least 21 years old, have a valid driver's license, and clean driving record to operate a company vehicle; Basic computer knowledge and experience with Microsoft office suite; Update equipment office records and installation specifications; Commissioning and integration experience required; Mobile access certification is a plus; Ability to lead crews when Foreman is away. DC/AC electrical skills; Must be able to pick up to 50 lbs. and be capable of working up to 12 hours; Experience on AT&T or Verizon Wireless Networks.
