Description:

The industrial journeyman electrician will be responsible for installation, repair, and troubleshooting on industrial packaging equipment and electrical controls in a manufacturing packaging environment. Will troubleshoot, repair, and work on servo drives (rexroth/Indramat), ABB and Allen Bradley VFDs, PID controllers, RTDs, control valves, PLC systems, and 480v industrial electric voltage. Must be comfortable with electrical troubleshooting and working up to 480v. Will also work on building facilities power distribution and lighting as well as safety circuits. Will regularly read schematics and be the go to for any electrical needs through the facility. Electrical safety is very important (lock out tag out, knowledge of arc flash, and proper use of PPE).

Schedule/Pay:

• 5:30 PM - 5:30 AM on a continental schedule (one week; 48 hours or 4 shifts, working Monday, Tuesday, Friday and Saturday, the next week; 36 hours or 3 shifts, working Sunday, Wednesday and Thursday)

• Overtime available

• Paid weekly

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Required:

• Must have Journeyman Electrician or Master Electricians license

• Expertise and knowledge of safety and circuit systems

• AC/DC power and motor drive experience

• Ability to use electrical meters including digital multimeter and amp meters

• Knowledge of the NEC code

• Ability to troubleshoot PLC's

• Troubleshoot manufacturing equipment electrical problems and identifying and then eliminating the root cause

Plus:

• Master Electrician License

• Technical degree or certifications

• Computer skills (excel, word, and SAP)
