Robert Half Human Resources (HR) Manager in Lansing, Michigan

Description

We are offering a position for a Human Resources (HR) Manager based in Lansing, Michigan. The role involves overseeing and managing the HR department of our organization. This position is pivotal in ensuring that our HR operations run smoothly and effectively to support our team's needs.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee the HR department, ensuring its operations align with the company's goals and objectives.

• Utilize HRMS to maintain employee records and generate necessary reports.

• Handle employee relations matters and address any issues or concerns promptly.

• Ensure compliance with all legal and company policies concerning employee management.

• Use ADP Workforce Now for payroll processing and other HR-related tasks.

• Implement and manage benefit functions to provide employees with necessary benefits.

• Oversee the compensation administration process to ensure fair and equitable pay.

• Manage the use of ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode for efficient data transfer.

• Use 'About Time' software for efficient employee time tracking.

• Leverage the Ceridian platform for HR management tasks such as recruiting, onboarding, payroll, and benefits.

Requirements • Proficiency in ADP - Financial Services and ADP Workforce Now

• Familiarity with ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode

• Experience with Ceridian and HRMS

• Knowledge of About Time software

• Understanding of Benefit Functions in an HR context

• Expertise in Compensation Administration

• Familiarity with Compliance standards and procedures in HR

• Ability to manage Employee Relations effectively

• Proven ability to adapt and learn new technologies and software in HR management

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Prior experience in a managerial role in Human Resources

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field

• Strong organizational and project management skills

• Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make sound decisions

• Knowledge of labor laws and regulations.
