Job Summary and Qualifications

Under the direct supervision of the Cardiovascular Director/Supervisor, the Cardiology Staff RN provides direct patient care to patients undergoing non-invasive cardiac procedures according to defined protocols. Duties include administration of medications, monitoring of patient vital signs/EKG and performance of continual patient assessment during cardiac stress procedures, TEEs, cardioversions and other procedures as needed. Coordinates patient teaching and post procedure assessment.

What qualifications you will need:

• Advanced Cardiac Life Spt must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date

• Basic Cardiac Life Support upon hire

• Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing

• Current state of Missouri RN licensure required

• Minimum 2 years of experience as an RN in any of the following areas: Telemetry, PCU, ICU, CC, or Cath Lab

• No call required
