Description:

Our staff is looking for experienced CNC set-up technicians. You'll be working for a company that's a leading manufacturer of fastener solutions, engineered solutions, plastic solutions, and additive solutions for automotive, heavy trucks, and other diverse industries. This is a high volume high production position. They have 10 robo drills, 30 Sugami Swiss turning machines, Murata twin spindle machines, and citizen and Acme screw machines. Prior experience with these brands isn't needed but is preferred.

Essential Job duties include but aren't limited to:

• Setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC machines

• Completing changeovers, tool changes, and offsets for new projects

• Inspecting products using micrometers, calipers, and gauges

• Reading blueprints and work instructions to understand proper specs

• Using basic computer skills for logging data

Pay Rate/Shift:

• $20-$35/hour (based on experience/skill level)

Weekday Crew: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday

• 1st Shift: 5:45 am- 2 pm (least priority but applicants can still be considered for it)

• 2nd Shift: 2:45 pm - 10 pm 5% shift premium, plus 10% for weekends

• 3rd Shift: 9:45 pm - 6 am 5% shift premium, plus 10% for weekends

Weekend Crew Full Time: Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday

• Hours: Two Shifts 10 Hours

• 5 am Start - 10% Premium

• 5 pm Start - 15% Premium

Weekend Crew Part Time: Saturday and Sunday

• Hours: 3 Shifts, 8 Hours

• 5:45 am - 2:00 pm 10% Shift Premium

• 1:45 pm - 10:00 am 15% Shift Premium

• 9:45 am - 6:00 am 15% Shift Premium

Right now there are working 6-7 days, with lots of overtime available. They are trying to rotate weekends when possible. Working 60+ hours a week right now, anticipated to last for the next 6 months until they are properly staffed

Must Haves Qualifications:

• CNC Set Up Experience (1-2 years) on mill or lathe machines

• Experience with micrometers, calipers, and gauges (1 year)

• Ability to read and understand blueprints or work instructions

• Basic computer skills for logging data

• Ability to complete tool changes and offsets

Nice to Have Qualifications:

• Set up experience on Swiss-style machines (operating or setting up)

• Set up experience on Robo Drills (operating or setting up)

• Set up experience on automated grinders (operating or setting up)

• Quality Inspection

• Experience with Fanuc controls
