Job Title: School-Based Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

Overview: We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our school-based healthcare team. As a School-Based CNA, you will play a crucial role in providing essential healthcare support to students within the school setting. This position offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of students by promoting their health, well-being, and academic success.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct healthcare services to students under the supervision of licensed healthcare professionals.

• Assist students with activities of daily living, such as toileting, feeding, and mobility, as needed.

• Monitor and record vital signs, symptoms, and other health-related information.

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.

• Respond promptly to medical emergencies and provide basic first aid as necessary.

• Collaborate with teachers, school administrators, and healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized healthcare plans for students with special medical needs.

• Maintain accurate and confidential healthcare records for each student.

• Educate students, staff, and families about health-related topics and promote healthy lifestyle choices.

• Adhere to all relevant healthcare regulations and protocols to ensure the safety and well-being of students.

  Qualifications:

• Valid certification as a Nursing Assistant (CNA) issued by the state licensing board.

• Prior experience working with children or adolescents preferred.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

• Compassionate and patient-oriented approach to caregiving.

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times.

• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.

• $19-22/hr
