Description

Robert Half is looking for a detail-oriented Sr. Accountant to assist a company in the retail industry. This role is 100% on-site in Downtown Miami.

Responsibilities:

•Assist with external audits

• Handle full cycle of accounting, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and close process

• Coordinate with team members including Controller – FP& A, and AR & AP teams

• Utilize major ERP systems such as NetSuite or SAP to streamline accounting processes

• Execute tasks using intermediate Excel skills, including Vlookups, Hlookups, SUMIF, and pivots

• Ensure accurate account reconciliation, balance sheet reconciliation, and bank reconciliations

• Prepare and record journal entries

• Conduct month-end close processes

• Work additional hours when necessary to meet deadlines.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Account Reconciliation is essential for this role.

• Must have significant experience with Balance Sheet Reconciliation.

• Expertise in Bank Reconciliations is required.

• In-depth knowledge of General Ledger management.

• Ability to accurately process Journal Entries is necessary.

• Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.

• Should have experience with Month End Close procedures.

• Familiarity with NetSuite for business processes is necessary.

• Proficiency in SAP for business operations is essential.
