Citigroup Global Markets Inc. seeks a Salesperson for its New York, New York location.

Duties: Advise LATAM clients on fixed income, bonds, mutual funds, commodities, and market conditions. Leverage knowledge of local regulations to provide inflation, interest rates and Foreign Exchange (FX) hedging solutions to LATAM financial institutions. Design and execute strategy to grow Foreign Exchange (FX), Linear Market (LM) rates and credit business with all client types (banks, asset managers, hedge, and pension funds) in LATAM region. Analyze, measure, implement and control inflation derivatives process from booking to final confirmation for client. Measure and price material risks for client before trade is executed. Perform hedge accounting under International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and Newly Industrialized Country (NIC) rules. Calculate SCEFs (Special Credit Exposure Factor), PSEs (Pre-settlement exposure), UMR (Uncleared Margin Rules) Initial Margin requirements and MPORs (Margin Period of Risk) necessary to conduct a cash and derivatives business mix. Translate client needs into market risks for Treading, Credit Value Adjustment, Structuring and Funding teams. Consult with independent agencies such as Coalition Greenwich and Oliver Wyman to evaluate bank’s market share among LATAM clients. Use complex financial models to perform derivatives valuation and booking. Use Java, Excel and C++ to create tailor made spreadsheets for derivatives market data such as yield curves, vitality cubes, and pricing functions to show underlying analytics, transaction valuation and risk. Conduct Risk Weighted Assets calculations under Basel III standardized approach to provide structured credit solutions for LATAM clients. Use Murex to engage with client derivatives pricing. A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite, in accordance with Citi policies and protocols.

Requirements: Requires a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Engineering (any), Business Administration or related field and 6 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience as a Sales Trader, Trade Senior, Structuring Analyst or related position providing coverage to LATAM financial services clients for their hedging and investment needs. 6 years of experience must include: Derivative pricing models and methodology; LATAM inflation modeling and analyzing market drivers for LATAM inflation trends; Hedge accounting under IFRS and NIC rules; Risk consumption metrics and methodology; Basel III regulations; Foreign Exchange and Linear Market rates pricing: Corporate finance, derivatives and capital markets; LATAM financial regulations; C++, Java, and Excel; Murex.
