Yahoo Holdings Inc. seeks Software Dev Engineer - (AGRAUV) in New York, NY.Job Duties: Work with engineering and architecture to assess critical challenges and identify opportunities to define cloud development, migration and automated solutions. Cultivate innovation by driving cross-collaboration and execution of projects across multiple teams. Own complex problems and have the ability to break it down into simpler components to lead the process of designing, developing, testing, deploying, maintaining and software improvement. Mentor and train team members on design, and coding. Serve in a 24/7 on-call rotation as an escalation contact. Write code to build new or enhance existing features in highly scalable distributed systems. Write specification, design and other relevant technical documentation and presentations. Work with team and system administrators to identify and troubleshoot production issues. Collaborate with team members during ideation, design, development, testing and release sessions. Work with other teams in understanding business requirements and delivering systems that meet those requirements, and ensure that the quality and performance of the components developed is exceptional and meets the required SLAs.Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, or a related field, followed by 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or as a Software Engineer, Software Developer, Front End Engineer, Back End Engineer, Full Stack Engineer, or in a related/similar position.
