Core Responsibilities: 

·         Control and monitoring of heat treat furnace equipment.

·         Prepare parts for loading into furnace, including wiping and final cleaning as necessary.

·         Ensure proper heat treat cycle is used. 

·         Monitor leak rate and progress of load during cycle.

·         Maintain furnace systems including preventative maintenance checks on pumps and other items listed in the maintenance log.

·         Recognize equipment failures. Detect faulty processes and provide input for their resolution.

·         Responsible for ensuring proper documentation is entered.

·         Train and oversee others on prior job experience.

·         Work under limited oversight.

·         Reads and understands manufacturing planning, blueprints, and specifications as necessary to perform the job function.

·         Understanding and ability to perform basic equipment trouble shooting.

·         Knowledge of shop math and precision measurement equipment.

·         Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications: 

• Minimum one (1) year of a strong manufacturing background.
• Have a thorough knowledge of specifications and the different requirements of all work orders.
• Have general knowledge of complex assemblies.
• Ability to utilize air and vacuum ovens, controller, grinders, paint spray gun.
• Locate, read, and understand process procedures and instructions.
• Understand and utilize SDS sheets.
• Basic computer program understanding.
• Interact and communicate in a professional and effective manner with all level's employees.
• Schedule and organize time and tasks effectively.
• Ability to work in a challenging and schedule driven environment.
• Strong organizational skills
