Robert Half is looking for a dedicated Medical Records Clerk for a contract role with one of our healthcare-based clients in Portland. The Medical Records Clerk will play a crucial role in ensuring the accurate maintenance and organization of patient medical records in compliance with regulatory standards and company policies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and update patient medical records in accordance with established protocols and regulatory requirements.

• Process and fulfill medical records requests from healthcare providers, patients, and other authorized personnel in a timely manner.

• Ensure the completeness, accuracy, and confidentiality of medical records at all times.

• Assist in the organization and maintenance of the medical records filing system.

• Collaborate with healthcare professionals and administrative staff to facilitate the smooth flow of medical records management.

  Requirements

• Previous experience working in a medical records or healthcare administration role is advantageous.

• Familiarity with medical terminology, procedures etc.

• Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems and Microsoft Office Suite.

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

• Ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

• Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and upholding ethical standards.
