Job Summary

Mission: As a Levy Payroll Coordinator, you will be responsible for providing The Levy Difference in Payroll and accounting services to internal and external guests and suppliers. Results are achieved by implementing effective internal controls and efficient processes, through leadership and supervisor skills, and by living our visions and values.

Major Areas of Responsibility

Operations

Supports company initiatives within the department

Has strong attention to detail

Builds and maintains strong relationships with clients, guests, subcontractors, and Levy team members

Maintains positive relationships with internal and external guests, and ensures prompt response and resolution to all guest inquiries

Acts as a liaison with team, including partner’s operational team, Levy team and other areas as needed to ensure efficient operational performance

Maintains accurate and efficient filing of financial archive files and data

Completes all projects in a timely and professional manner

Payroll and Controls

Thoroughly and accurately uses applicable Levy systems (OMS)

Ensures required department reports are completed and information is compiled at month end closing

Ensures team members adhere to Levy Company guidelines as stated in team member training manual and employee handbook

Completes assigned MAP objectives to achieve Financial Services goals

Manages employee sick and vacation requests

Ensures all payroll information is accurate and submitted on a timely basis

Clearly communicates financial results to management on a regular basis

Ensures Core Signature standards are maintained for all accounting functions

Manages all Administrative Charges and Credit Card tip entries

Provides accurate and targeted financial analysis as requested

Processes all biweekly union dues and Health and Welfare deductions

Team

Supports the Human Resources department to meet operational needs

Uses all performance management tools to provide guidance and feedback to team

Displays a positive attitude towards team members

Promotes a cooperative work climate, maximizing productivity and morale

Job Requirements

English reading, writing, math and computer skills required

Must be able to reach, lift, stoop, bend and perform extensive standing and walking (including stairs) throughout shift

May be required to perform diverse physical tasks

Possible hazards include, but are not limited to; slips, trips, falls, burns, cuts and strains

Must be flexible with schedule, able to work weekends

Ability to use hands in using office equipment, including the computer system

Ability to talk and hear to conduct phone correspondence

Close vision and focus capabilities to view computer screen and company documents

Maintain clean and safe work environment; ability to perform job safely.

Performs other duties as assigned.
