You as an Accountant are responsible for general accounting operations and assisting the Finance Controller in the month-end close accounting, the monthly reconciliations and financial reporting and will be located in Prague in hybrid model of work.

In this role, a typical day will look like:

• Prepare monthly accounts reconciliations

• Monitor monthly and annual financial accounts according to US-GAAP and local accounting standards

• Support month-end and year-end closing processes

• Maintain general ledger

• Support budget and internal / external audit processes

• Backup Finance Controller when required

We are looking for a professional with:

• Financial accounting degree or CPA certification

• Experience in Czech & Slovak GAAP, US GAAP is an advantage

• Ability to work in fast-paced environments and deliver results while quickly adapting to changing priorities and unforeseen challenges

• Excellent knowledge of local Czech & Slovak statutory reporting requirements and Internal Control procedures

• Proficiency in Czech with strong written and oral communication skills and communicative level of English
