Position Summary

:

As the Lifecycle Marketing Manager for Praxis, you will own all aspects of engagement with Praxis test-takers, from when we first identify a lead through to after they receive their scores. You will own both the overall strategy for how we engage various segments of leads, define the offers and campaigns that deliver on that strategy, and work with a team to execute it and measure success.

You will manage, with the support of a multiple team members, all aspects of content, design, and flows of landing pages, email, and SMS communications. Our primary channel for customer engagement is email; you will manage the landing pages to capture new leads and the logic to continuously update the flows leads receive based on the information they provide us. You will optimize the cadence, content, and sequence of communication, and identify areas where new tools or capabilities can enhance performance.

The incumbent is both technical and strategic: confident building complex campaigns in a marketing automation system, but also developing strategy, helping guide with tone of voice, and capturing and reporting insights to Praxis leadership.

Responsibilities:

You will own the customer journey from end-to-end: strategy, execution, analysis, optimization and reporting.

You will be hands-on in our marketing automation platform (Marketo) to set up landing pages, emails, and push campaigns to educate, engage, and convert prospective test-takers.

You will create processes and templates for reusable workflows to quickly turn updated copy, design, and calls-to-action into new campaigns.

You will write creative briefs, email copy and manage production workflow.

You will continuously measure the performance of campaigns and identify areas for potential optimization, executing tests to drive increased campaign engagement and conversion.

You will work with product, marketing, and business stakeholders to ensure lifecycle communications are closely aligned with product releases, industry trends, and business objectives.

Education and Experience:

You have 5+ years of experience in email and lifecycle marketing for a consumer business.

You are experienced using Marketo for email marketing campaigns. Bonus if you have experience with additional email marketing platforms and SMS.

You have been the primary owner of a complex lifecycle marketing program and have successfully worked to continuously improve the program.

You have successfully managed multiple team members to progress a lifecycle marketing roadmap.

You have collected and presented email performance data to senior stakeholders and have conducted A/B testing of lifecycle marketing campaigns.
