We are looking for a Project Procurement Manager for international Projects meeting the need for smart-mobility solutions.

Your new responsibilities and tasks – Challenging and future oriented

· Early Involvement: Review the sales funnel to ensure early involvement of Procurement. Provide supplier market information and preferred supplier information at an early stage to optimize supplier selection, internal workflows and processes.

· Project Procurement standards: Establish proper sourcing processes: Involve and manage relevant Procurement resources (i.e. Commodity Management) and activities to meet requirements relating to budget, availability, quality. Apply Procurement regulations as per Compliance and organization standards.

· Analysis: Analyze scope of supply, contractual obligations, schedules, customer’s functional needs. Identify and manage Procurement risks, opportunities, potential changes, claims and market forces during the entire project lifecycle.

· Bid preparation / Contribution to increased hit rate: Support project calculation with reliable and up-to-data cost data. Include (supplier) innovations that improve Siemens' cost position and/or the customer's benefit.

· Strategy definition and implementation: Derive and implement Procurement strategies for assigned projects in accordance with Business and overall Procurement strategies.

· Negotiation / Contribution to improved project budget: Lead contractual and price negotiations and/or support specialist buyers to secure project targets with optimum conditions, i.e. Total Cost of Ownership (ToCO). Conduct eSourcing activities based on Advanced Negotiation Concepts (ANC).

· Contract Management: Mitigate Procurement risks, changes to original scope of supply and potential claims by valid contracts. Ensure implementation of Back-to-Back Conditions and there fulfilled by supplier.

· Project Controlling / Reporting: Manage procurement data for project and procurement controlling. Compile and structure relevant information to submit qualified reports (i.e. Procurement Plan & Statement, Awarding Schedule, Procurement KPI Reports).

· Supplier Management: Provide supplier information, conduct supplier qualifications, evaluations, development activities. Follow-up with suppliers with regards to Non-Conformance Costs (NCC).

· Knowledge management and documentation: Systematically update stakeholders with relevant Procurement information (i.e. updated contractual conditions, Supplier Management data). Sensitize stakeholders for Procurement related practices processes and metrics

Your qualification – Well-grounded and adequate

· Master’s degree in supply chain management, economics, operations, engineering or a related area.

· Senior level experience within procurement with a proven track record to manage international / multi-national projects, working with a multi-national company.

· Deep and comprehensive understanding of commercial & technical project management.

· Strongly demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills and ability to communicate and collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders.

· Conflict ability, able to manage high complexity under time pressure.

· Experienced knowledge of contracting practices and strategies, regulatory requirements, legal and compliance risks.

· Demonstration of high level of integrity and ownership acting as a role model for the organization.

· Excellent written and spoken English.
