Siemens Energy Logistic Operator - 2nd Shift in Richland, Mississippi

A Snapshot of Your Day

Daily activities will include performing a wide range of assignments, such as moving and stacking skids, containers, and pallets; as well as loading, unloading, and moving materials and product

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • You willbe responsible for receiving, storing / stocking, identifying, and issuingmaterial by name, part, or drawing number

  • Candidatewill be verifying count, condition, and integrity of all material received

  • You willbe expected to collect and transport material as needed, operating Jitneys, towmotors, cranes, and reach trucks; this includes moving and storing material inyards and shops, such as casting and forging workstations

  • You willreceive, identify, mark, store, and issue a wide variety of bars, tubings,pipes, and related material

  • You willbe operating UPS, FedEx, and DHL machines to create shipping labels forrelevant material

  • You willbe assisting areas with locating required material, putting kits together, andpackaging and labeling

What You Bring

  • High SchoolDiploma or GED

  • 1-3 yearsof material logistics experience in a manufacturing environment, or anequivalent combination of education and experience

  • Must bewilling to work second shift and be flexible enough to work first or thirdshifts on occasion as per business requirements

  • Must befamiliar with Microsoft Office Suite, with basic to intermediate computerskills

  • Must havestrong organizational and interpersonal skills, and flexibility and ability tomanage multiple priorities

  • Shoulddisplay an attitude conductive to progress through positive change, continuousimprovement, and active contribution to the concept of teamwork
