Need 2 seasonal, full-time, temporary Ag. Equipment Operators to work in Starbuck, MN. From: 02/01/2024 to 12/01/2024 Work: 48 hrs./week, Mon-Sat. 8 hrs./day, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Hours may vary during different times during the crop season. Hours worked in excess of 48 hours in a work week will be paid at 1.5 times the regular rate of pay. Wage rate may increase with verifiable experience. Employer may reward exceptional work with monetary or other benefits in addition to those listed here in his sole discretion. ESST Law: Effective Jan 1, 2024, per MN State Statute, employee will earn one hour of paid sick and safe time for every 30 hours worked, up to at least 48 hours of accrued Earned Sick and Safe Time (ESST) a year. Must Apply By: 07/03/2024 NOTE: JOB DUTIES: Drive and operate farm machinery to plant, cultivate, harvest and store grain crops. Tow harvesting equipment. Drive and operate self-propelled combine. Run grain cart and tillage. General lubrication, service (check fluids) and mechanical repair to farm machinery and trucks. Drive trucks to transport crops to elevator or storage area. Maintenance of the farm shop. Crops: Corn, Kidney Beans, Silage, Soybeans, Sugar Beets JOB REQUIREMENTS: Minimum 3 months experience. Must have or be able to obtain driver's license within 30 days of hire. Able to lift and carry items weighing up to 60 lbs. No minimum education required. EMPLOYER ASSURANCES: Work guaranteed for 3/4 of contract period, starting with date of arrival at work site. Employer provides free housing for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Employer pays inbound transportation and subsistence to work site upon 50% completion of work contract for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of at least $15.88 per day during travel to a maximum of $59.00 per day with receipts.
