Description

Attention all Human Resources talent. Robert Half is working with a growing client to a hire a new Human Resources Benefits Specialist. The Benefits Specialist is responsible for overseeing benefits and FMLA. If you thrive in a dynamic work environment that requires the ability to balance multiple responsibilities, this may be the role for you.

How you will make an impact

  • Study compensation standards set by industry and governing bodies in order to create salary structures and administer employee benefits

  • Attend interdepartmental meetings with other managers

  • Grow the organization's human resources department by planning, implementing, and evaluating employee relations and human resources policies, programs, and practices

  • Oversee all HR benefits activities, communications, reports, requests and documents created and received by the team

  • Inform employees such that they follow all policies and procedures

  • Keep historical human resource records by designing a filing and retrieval system and keeping past and current records

Requirements

  • Seasoned in handling confidential business matters and information with discretion

  • 2+ years of experience within human resources

  • Bachelor's degree or relevant experience

  • Knowledge of HR software and strong familiarity of MS Office

  • Deep knowledge of HR policies, benefits administration, compensation and wage structure

  • Adept to problem-solving and conflict resolution

  • Strong organization skills

  • Great written, verbal, and interpersonal skills

  • An understanding of the key principles of employment law and EEOC regulations

  • Exemplary ethics, integrity, and standards

  • Ability to view issues without bias
